New Year, New Challenges: A Message From Our CEO

New Year, New Challenges: A Message From Our CEO

Dear Supporters:

Our hearts have felt heavy about many things over the past few months, but it has perhaps reached its peak with the passing of the recent Executive Order regarding immigrants and refugees, particularly those from seven nations which we all know to be countries full of rich, vibrant, and beautiful people – those that are the victims of terrorism, not the perpetrators.

Like many of you, I do not know what these next few months will bring. However, while we are unsure of how our community will be impacted, we do not hesitate to remind everyone, including ourselves, of what we are sure of: our steadfast and unwavering commitment to serve our clients and our community, regardless of the challenges we face. Our resolve to stand, united, to create a safer world for refugees and the Houstonians we serve, will not falter.

The Alliance is a unique and essential organization in our community. We are poised to help and to make a difference. We find comfort and optimism in the strength of The Alliance family here in the Houston community that we call home, and we look forward to continuing our work together alongside supporters like you to develop new partnerships, strategies, and approaches to protecting our courageous clients today, tomorrow, and in the years ahead.

Warmly,
Daniel Stoecker
Chief Executive Officer
