Legal Services Center Receives $2,000 Grant from State Bar of Texas Corporate Counsel Section

The Alliance Legal Services Center recently received a $2,000 grant from the State Bar of Texas Corporate Counsel Section  to help pay for clients’ immigration fees. This comes at a critical time when many of our clients are struggling due to COVID-19 and the impacts of lost jobs and wages.

AP Vo, Vice President and Counsel of The Alliance, said:

“Many of our clients have had to delay their immigration paperwork due to the inability to pay right now. This support from the State Bar of Texas Corporate Counsel Section will help us move their cases forward. We are grateful for their support and commitment to ensuring community members have access to legal services even during these difficult times.”

The Alliance Legal Services Center provides a variety of immigration legal services including naturalization, adjustment of status, employment authorization, asylum application, petition for alien relative, travel documents and re-entry visas, VAWA self-petitions, and other family-based immigration matters.
