06 Apr Houston Rockets Clinch Wins and Give Back
The Houston Rockets have had no shortage of success this season, recently clinching the first seed in the Western Conference. The team has also shared their successes off the court and in the community! The Rockets graciously named The Alliance charity of the month for April 2018. Through highlighting The Alliance’s work on a broader platform, the Rockets are helping to raise awareness of the essential programs and services we provide while raising critical funds to help support those same programs.
The Rockets 
organization has also extended other generous offerings to our organization, including inviting The Alliance to participate in its 2nd Annual Book Drive. The Alliance was one of the lucky recipients of 10,000 children’s and young adult books collected by the Houston Rockets Women’s Organization in partnership with the Ladies for Literacy Guild of the Barbara Bush Houston Literacy Foundation and sponsored by Reliant. So many children that The Alliance serves will get to benefit from these wonderful books and utilize them for strengthening their language development.
